Well, a decision I wish I handled differently was how I handled when my friend Brittany began to get sicker and sicker. She always had a weak heart because she was born with a hole in it, but I never really let it get to me before. We've been best friends for years and years. The thing was that her mind never really matured. It was like she was permanently stuck at 12, or regressing. So, you could say I outgrew her. She had been confined to her home because she was too weak to go to school. I stopped talking to her as often, and eventually stopped visiting even though she lived next door. It seemed every time I went to visit her, she would come up with some unrealistic fantasy. And then, she died last year after I had stopped visiting her for a few months. I hadn't even known that she had spent those months in the hospital because of our lack of communication. I've never felt so awful about myself in my entire life.
I know that if I could do it again, I would change everything. Be there everyday, hold her hand through it all. I would learn to not be so selfish and give her a hand and a visit because she couldn't go to school anymore and get together with her boyfriend and friends. I know now that I must learn from this terrible mistake I've made and never allow it to happen again.

Colliding Personality with Intelligence
Personality Spectrum: HIGH- Organizer, Giver
LOW- Adventurer, Thinker
Intelligences: HIGH- Intrapersonal, Musical, Verbal-Linguistic, Visual-Spacial
LOW- Interpersonal, Naturalistic, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Logical-Mathematical
One of the biggest differences I see in my Personal Spectrum and my Intelligences is that I am a Giver, but my strength of intelligence doesn't lie in interpersonal strategies. Mixed messages. I'm a sympathetic person who can't work well with others? I guess I can understand that when my Organizer personality comes in because I have high standards when it comes to working on projects, and it becomes difficult if someone from my group isn't doing their work.
I think my Organizer personality trait works well with my intelligences such as Verbal-Linguistic and Visual-Spacial because those are things that can be organized.
I think I can reconcile my Giver personality with my extreme Intrapersonal intelligence by just continuing to work with others.

Blog #1
Throughout my life -- and everyone else's, I think-- college is supposed to be one big party where everyone participates in the fraternities and hazing, having the good old life. I tend to roll my eyes at things like this. Though it's turned out to be true, I just see it as the half of college-life I won't participate in, because I'm here to get the education.
Education is big in my family, so it was never a matter of if I went to college. I prepared as much as I could, put my summer off so that I could get a job to pay for it, and continue to work to pay for it in the future. College means taking the last step of the "learning stage" even though we never really stop learning, and it means moving forward. For some, that step ended with high school. That step ends for me when I leave campus for the last time.
As for experiences I want to have in college... I think just getting through it without failing will be enough triumph for me.
